How to create your ScanAuctions account

Setting up your ScanAuctions account takes about 30 seconds. You can sign up as an individual or as a business (which lets you create a team).

Go to the registration page

Visit app.scanauctions.com/register in your web browser. You'll see the sign-up form.

Choose Personal or Business

At the top of the form, you'll see two options:

  • Personal — Just you. Perfect if you're an independent trader.
  • Business — For dealerships with multiple staff. Lets you create a team with up to 5 members who share filters, scans, and platform connections.
You can always upgrade from Personal to Business later. If you're not sure, start with Personal.

Fill in your details

Enter your email address and choose a password (minimum 10 characters, including 1 uppercase letter and 1 number). If you chose Business, you'll also enter your company name.

Click "Create account".

Verify your email

Check your inbox for a verification email from ScanAuctions. Click the link in the email to confirm your account. If you don't see it, check your spam folder.

You need to verify your email before you can use all features. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, you can request a new one from the login page.

Complete the onboarding

After verifying, log in and you'll see a 4-step onboarding wizard. It walks you through: connecting your AutoTrader account, creating your first filter, and understanding the dashboard. This takes about 3 minutes.
