How to close your account
2 min read·Updated June 2026
You can request account deletion yourself, straight from your profile — no support ticket needed. Under UK GDPR we complete the deletion within 30 days, and you can change your mind at any point before it’s processed.
Want a copy of your data first? Go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Export before you request deletion. You’ll get a JSON file with your profile, filters, scans, valuation history, and payment records.
1
Open your profile
Click your avatar in the top-right corner and pick Profile. Scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom.
2
Click Delete and confirm
Click Delete, read the summary of what happens, then type your account email to confirm. This is deliberate friction — deletion is permanent once processed.
3
Your subscription is cancelled automatically
Any active subscription is set to cancel at the end of the current billing period the moment you confirm — you will not be billed again.
4
Changed your mind?
Until the deletion is processed you can sign back in and click Keep my account in the same Danger Zone panel. That cancels the request and restores your subscription exactly as it was.
What we keep, and why
Your personal data (email, name, company details) is erased. Payment records are retained for 6 years because UK HMRC accounting rules require it — this is a lawful basis for retention under GDPR and applies to every UK business.
If you own a team with other members, transfer ownership before requesting deletion — otherwise your teammates lose access to shared scans and platform connections. Open a support ticket if you need help with the handover.
