Which sites does the extension work on?
2 min read·Updated April 2026
The extension auto-detects car listings on the sites below and shows the ScanAuctions sidebar with valuation and profit data, no clicks needed. Open a listing, the panel slides in.
Supported sites
- Facebook Marketplace — private and dealer listings.
- AutoTrader UK — the consumer site (autotrader.co.uk).
- eBay Motors UK — cars + classic cars categories.
- Motorway Pro — the dealer site (pro.motorway.co.uk).
- CarWow — both Buy Now and Auctions.
- Gumtree — cars section.
- Cinch — consumer listings.
How you know it’s working
On a supported listing, the extension icon turns blue and a sidebar slides in from the right with retail value, profit estimate, AT rating, and MOT info. If the icon stays grey, the page isn’t a listing we recognise yet.
Not supported (yet)
- AA Cars
- Heycar
- CarWow private sales
- BCA
We add new sites based on customer demand. If you’d like to see one supported, drop a request through Support — we prioritise based on the volume of dealers asking.
The session-capture feature also works on Motorway Pro and CarWow — see the Motorway and CarWow help pages for setup. That’s how scans run on those platforms without you typing the password into ScanAuctions.
